Providing Information to Families
-
The Falmouth Public Schools supports and communicates with families about educational activities and events that are happening in our community. We believe in helping families learn about different community events and resources that may be of interest or of help to them. Teachers will send flyers and newsletters home with your child or via email. Each flyer produced has gone through an approval process with the Office of Student Services. All school communication is available in the family’s preferred language.
Children with Special Education Needs
-
The Falmouth Public Schools have building-based special education teams including a Special Education Building Administrator (SEBA), special education teachers, a school psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, guidance counselor and/or adjustment counselor, who bring expertise to their work with students receiving special education services. A teacher or a parent/guardian may refer a student for an evaluation in order to determine eligibility for special education services. Please contact the Special Education Building Administrator in your child's school for more information regarding the evaluation process. For those students who enter Kindergarten with Individualized Educational Programs already in place, services will begin upon entry.
