Welcome to AP Studio Art. This course if for seniors in the Studio Art Program who wish to complete a portfolio of work with the intention of submitting that portfolio to the college board for AP credit. Twelve works are completed to show a breadth of experience in art materials and processes, and twelve works are completed to show a concentration around a theme of the student's choosing. Students are expected to maintain a sketchbook throughout the course, and a rigorous schedule keeps students on task for their portfolio requirements. All students in the AP Studio program are required to organize a small group show in the student art gallery in the spring.
