• Summer Reading Expectations and Suggestions

All of the students entering grades 5 and 6 at Morse Pond School have received a copy of the graphic novel New Kid, by Jerry Craft, to read this summer. We hope that students enjoy this realistic fiction, Newbery Award Winner that explores how friends and family can support us as we grow.

Are you looking for additional suggestions? Here is next year's Battle of the Books List. All students will be required to do battle next year. So, reading as many as you can over the summer is a great idea!

Feel free to read as many books on the list or not on the list as you like! Make your summer reading even more fun by playing Morse Pond School Summer Reading Bingo!
